Lily is an artist and educator from New York City. For her, art functions in parallel universe where the confines and structures of reality are defunct. It can be a powerful tool to access greater understanding, explore what is unseen, form unlikely or deeper connections and a way to bring people together. Much of her own work examines the construction of identity and the self in relation to others. Her love of collaboration and community building has led her to establish Crit with Elie Anderson and Michelle Snow. She organizes meetings, retreats, programming and curates Crit art shows with her cofounders.
Her work has been exhibited at XXXI, Ghost Gallery, Permanent Maintenance and Assembly Room.
She is also a NYC public school teacher and practicing yogi.
